Turf Blaster® 100% Wood Fiber is compatible with all mechanically agitated hydroseeding units. The application rate will vary depending on the project requirements and soil conditions. For optimal results, mix with water and seed in your tank, applying the slurry evenly over the prepared soil surface. The product forms a protective layer that aids in retaining moisture and providing an ideal environment for seed germination and growth. 

Tank Loading Rate:  Mix 50 lbs. of Turf Blaster® 100% Wood Fiber for every 100 to 150 gallons of water (dependent on your machines capabilities) to ensure an optimal slurry for hydroseeding.

Application Guidelines:

• For slopes up to 4H:1V: Apply at a rate of 2,000 lbs. per acre (2,240 kg per hectare).

• For slopes greater than 4H:1V and up to 3H:1V: Increase the rate to 2,500 lbs. per acre (2,800 kg per hectare).

• For steeper slopes greater than 3H:1V and up to 2H:1V: Apply at a density of 3,000 lbs. per acre (3,360 kg per hectare).

• Straw Tacking and Mulch Binding:
  For tasks requiring straw tacking or mulch binding, you can use at a lighter rate of 500 lbs. per acre (560 kg per hectare) and still achieve effective results.

Packaging Details:

Each bag is filled with a net weight of 50 lbs. (22.7 kg). The bags are made from UV- and weather-resistant plastic film, designed to withstand the elements and ensure the product's integrity until use.
